Call it the crystal method.

“I don’t stay single for long,” Katy Perry revealed in the July issue of Cosmo. “I carry a lot of rose quartz, which attracts the male. Maybe I need to calm it down with the amethyst. I’m not like Professor Higgins with my sex life. I’m not super strict. For me, the most important thing about sex is connection.”

Of course, the “Roar” singer, 29, might want to rethink her methods, as they haven’t exactly resulted in romantic happiness — at least not this decade.

In February, Perry and John Mayer called it quits after a tumultuous year-and-a-half-plus relationship that had seen them break up once before.

The musically inclined duo started dating in the summer of 2012, just as the singer’s divorce from Russell Brand was finalized. The 39-year-old comedian broke up with the singer by text message in December 2011, after a 14-month marriage.

While her last relationship may have ended with a thud, Perry did tell the magazine that she still respects Mayer, 36, whom she collaborated with on the song “Who You Love.”

“I have a lot of respect for [John] still, and I know it goes both ways,” she told the magazine. “There’s no bad blood, but I’m sure there will be inspired songs.”

It might help that Perry seems to have already moved on. The singer — who dyed her hair green following the split and decided to delve into the world of high-end art collecting — was linked with Diplo in April, after the two were seen making nice at Coachella.
