Hedge funder and president of Italy’s soccer team James Pallotta threw a private dinner at SXSW in Austin on Saturday with Jay Brown, co-founder of Jay Z’s Roc Nation.
Pallotta served up pre-Prohibition bourbon at the bash, where guests included Ashton Kutcher, Guy Oseary, Chanel COO John Galantic, Jawbone’s Travis Bogard and Skullcandy’s Hoby Darling. Execs from Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment as well as AOL, Vimeo, LISNR, FactoryMade Ventures and the MIT Media Lab also mingled.
The dinner was hosted at Pallotta and Roc Nation’s annual SXSW pop-up spot, Raptor House, during the Texas festival’s interactive and film sections.
Raptor Group head Pallotta is also an investor in the Boston Celtics.
