Celebrity bail bondsman pens racy memoir

Confession is good for the soul, but it might not be good for Ira Judelson’s career as a bail bondsman.

In his memoir, “The Fixer: Any Jail, Any Court, Anytime,” due June 3 from Simon & Schuster, the braggadocious author tells of bailing out rapper Ja Rule, rape suspect Dominique Strauss-Kahn and cross-dressing murder suspect Robert Durst.

Judelson, who describes himself now as “a macher,” also says in his early days he worked as a bouncer at a couple bars and hauled fish at the Fulton Fish Market.

“The worst was a gig gluing fake labels on the backs of illegal pharmaceutical products that some guys I knew were reselling to CVS,” Judelson wrote. “I’d get $100 in cash for each shift.”

Lawyer Pete Gleason, who repped “Soccer Mom Madam” Anna Gristina and is described in the book as “screwy,” believes Judelson could lose his license from the state of New York for his candor.

“It’s beyond screwy to put counterfeit drugs on the shelves of CVS,” Gleason said. “He’s not a macher; he’s a schmuck.”
