Euan Rellie, the British investment banker with a busy social schedule, hosted a Gentleman’s Dinner the other night to celebrate WattsUp Rosé, the wine marketed by his friend, fashion photographer Ben Watts, brother of actress Naomi Watts.
As a table of 32 dudes prepared to devour beef filet, Rellie told how touched he was — after helping get the photographer’s daughter into a private school — when Watts presented him with a bottle of his rosé as a thank-you gift.
“And then I found out the price — $15,” Rellie said.
Among those who laughed and raised a glass: fashion designers Michael Bastian and Timo Weiland, dreadlocked model Morgan O’Connor, One Management model agent Scott Lipps and Billy McFarland — who hosted the evening in his Magnises Townhouse on Greenwich Avenue.
