As Sandy’s wrath continues to wreak the East Coast, even celebrities are reeling from her effects.

The storm is leaving a multitude of cancellations in her path. As curtains for Broadway remain down with no word on when shows will resume, the city’s late-night talk show roster has been affected, too.

“The Late Show With David Letterman” and “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” taped their episodes without their usual live studio audiences. Over at Comedy Central, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert took yesterday off.

Jimmy Kimmel’s much-hyped Brooklyn tapings were postponed but the host fully intends to move ahead today. “Unless something weird happens, tonight’s show in #Brooklyn is ON like fleece on Gov Christie @HowardStern,” he tweeted.

Sounds like the kind of “positive thinking” Lindsay Lohan would rally behind. The starlet tweeted on Sunday: “WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i’m calling it Sally)..?Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace.”

Other stars have been chronicling their Sandy experience like LiLo has via social media. John Legend was ready to weather the storm with five bottles of wine, while model Miranda Kerr stayed “safe and cosy” with a friend.

Unfortunately, not everyone was as prepared. Former New Kids On The Block member Donnie Wahlberg posted videos of his flooded East Coast apartment on his Telly page.

Piers Morgan also tweeted a photo of the wreckage in front of his street: “Just got home to discover almost every car along my NY street has been smashed by trees.”

Perhaps it’s best to go through life like lovably oblivious Ryan Lochte, who tweeted yesterday after the city’s blackout, “Just herd NYC power went out?!?! Is that true”
