Ronnie Wood pops the question to Sally Humphreys

Rolling Stone guitarist Ronnie Wood will wed for the third time after popping the question to his girlfriend Sally Humphreys.

The 65-year-old musician has been dating theater producer Sally, 34 — 31 years his junior — for the last six months.

According to The Sun, Wood asked for Humphreys’ hand in marriage last week after securing his financial future with a series of Stones gigs over the next year. (Indeed, Wood will pocket a pretty penny from the band’s sold out “50 and Counting” tour. Tickets to the Newark shows ranged from $95 – $750 and are now being offered on the secondary market for about $1,000.)

“Ronnie and Sally have been friends a long time. He always had an eye for her but she was in a relationship,” a source told the UK publication. “They’ve been inseparable for months and he decided to tie the knot again. Keith Richards has been laughing about it. He’s sick of buying him wedding presents.”

Earlier this year Wood’s stepson Jamie said: “Sally’s not one of the bimbos he usually goes for. She’s exactly what he needs. I don’t think he can keep up with bimbos anymore.”

The dad of four split from his second wife Jo, 57, in 2008 after a fling with 24-year-old waitress Katia Ivanova. He was first married to Krissy Findlay from 1971 to 1978.
