New Zealand-born Russell Crowe had a distinctly British plan for riding out Hurricane Sandy in New York. The star tweeted on Monday, “Found Yorkshire tea at Myers of Keswick on Hudson Street,NY. Teapot and 1953 Coronation cup. Aah Tea, it’s the ritual perfect for Hurricanes.” Crowe is currently here shooting “Noah,” based on the biblical story of Noah and the flood and directed by Darren Aronofsky. His co-star Emma Watson tweeted on Sunday, “I take it that the irony of a massive storm holding up the production of Noah is not lost @DarrenAronofsky @russellcrowe.” With more delays yesterday, Crowe was back to more manly fare, having a steak lunch at the Grill at Smith & Wollensky.
