Taki Theodoracopulos takes down Bo Svenson

Bon vivant Taki Theodoracopulos swore, “I quit. I’ll never do it again,” after he won a World Judo Championship at 71. But the aristocratic shipping heir — and former playboy, who now runs “Libertarian Webzine” Taki’s Magazine — donned his gi again at 76 this month in Miami Beach. He medaled yet again in the 70-plus group by taking down younger “Walking Tall” and “Kill Bill: Vol. 2” star Bo Svenson, 71. “He’s a very nice man,” said Taki of his competition, “but not the smartest at all. We spoke Greek, because he’d done military service in Greece, but he lacks the killer instinct.” After the victory, Taki had to have ankle surgery and says he’s turned his attention to the movies after pal Roger Moore told him, “Real fights look fake, and fake fights look real.” He’ll appear in James Toback’s hotly tipped film with Alec Baldwin, “Seduced and Abandoned,” which Toback’s currently editing in New York. And he’s prepping for “Sex School,” about a 20-something virgin who’s hired to teach sex-ed to a group of randy private schoolers. “I play the janitor,” he explains.
