Barbara Walters came under fire for putting the Kardashian sisters on her list last year. But this year, she apparently finds boy band One Direction fascinating. We guess that’s better.
The veteran TV journalist announced part of her annual “Most Fascinating” list on “The View” today. Along with the teeny boppers, “Fifty Shades of Grey” writer E L James, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, actor-director-writer Ben Affleck, Olympic Gold medalist Gabby Douglas, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, 2013 Oscars host and creator of the hit animated television show “Family Guy” Seth MacFarlane also made the cut for the program now in its 20th broadcast.
She explained that she chose people who have been “very much in the news” and “no criminals.”
The number one most fascinating person of 2012 will be announced on the program that’s airing Dec. 12. on ABC.
