Paul McCartney gave an impromptu performance in an elevator at the Bryant Park Hotel on Tuesday night. While attending a premiere party for the movie “Comes a Bright Day” — starring Imogen Poots and directed by his son-in-law Simon Aboud — the former Beatle “broke out a harmonica and hammed it up in a private solo performance in the elevator, just minutes before the screening,” says a source. Although busy McCartney departed soon after arriving, skipping the screening itself, other A-listers in attendance included Steve Buscemi, Jerry Seinfeld and Elvis Costello. Aboud and McCartney’s daughter Mary reportedly eloped in 2010.
