In her first words since she emerged as a player in the bombshell Petraeus scandal, Jill Kelley has been caught exploiting her connections again.
The social climber complains to Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn that she, along with former CIA director David Petraeus and Gen. John Allen have been “exploited by the media,” in e-mails obtained by the Tampa Bay Times Friday.
“I wouldn’t care — if they got the facts right and the focus was on the criminal that stalked all of us,” she wrote on Tuesday, in an apparent reference to Paula Broadwell, Petraeus’s biographer and mistress. “But the truth will one day prevail.” Kelley is said to know the mayor socially.

In the anguished early morning messages, she claims that she and her three kids “are scared” to go home and her doctor husband, Scott, has been forced to sleep at the hospital because he cannot get into their driveway due to “paparazzi” swarming their Bayshore Boulevard mansion.
She complained, “to put insult to injury, your police dept gave the local 911 tapes to the press!” Kelley’s cell phone number was released in the police dispatch recordings and as a result, she says she has been “receiving threats all night.”
Buckhorn told the newspaper that he didn’t act on Kelley’s complaint and called the police tapes “public record.”
The e-mails to Buckhorn reveal how Kelley has not only rubbed shoulders with top military officers, but also with Florida politicians. Yesterday, a Twitter photo emerged of US Senate candidate Marco Rubio with the busty military groupie and her twin sister, Natalie Khawam.
“Jill Kelley loves the spotlight and it was disrespectful that she came to our event without paying when people paid $1000+,” a witness told Page Six via e-mail about the March 2010 fund-raiser in Florida. “Rubio had his picture taken with many people that night and nothing was remarkable about this one. Jill Kelley wasn’t even on our guest list.”
