Janeane Garofalo can’t get no respect. Spies say the comedienne — who we recently reported was married for 20 years to comedy writer Rob Cohen and didn’t know it — was dissed on her own movie set, spies say. While on location in Brooklyn shooting her latest indie film, the Evan Oppenheimer-directed “A Little Game,” she was on a break with co-star Ralph Macchio when a clueless local woman passed by. “The woman said, ‘Excuse me’ to Janeane and Ralph,” a source relates, “and then asked them, ‘Are there any movie stars in this film?’ ” Gobsmacked Garofalo deftly shot back: “Well . . . I guess not.” The picture about a New York public school girl who transfers to a snooty prep school and learns chess also stars F. Murray Abraham and Olympia Dukakis. Oppenheimer, the film’s producer Michael Mailer and backer Edward Schmidt all connected on the project because their kids attend the same Greenwich Village school.
