Sure, Kate Middleton has been on bump watch since she and Prince William got married in April 2011, and there’s been no official announcement that she’s expecting.

But, a new report alleges that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are already nesting.

An “insider” tells Us Weekly the royal duo are moving from their Welsh cottage into their permanent home in Apartment 1A of London’s Kensington Palace – a four-story, 20-room space that’s undergoing a $1.5 million renovation.

“A baby is the main reason for the move,” the magazine’s “confidant” revealed.

The source went on to say that the Duke and Duchess are keen to become parents as soon as possible. The source explained, “It’s time for the next step – Kate is hoping she and William can become parents in 2013.”

There are other signs that a stork’s circling the royal couple. Last week, Kate’s “close friend” and former roommate Jessica Hay swore to publications that the Duchess is pregnant.

“They’re planning to make an announcement in December. William and Kate are focused on starting a family,” she tattled to New Idea magazine two weeks ago.

She also told Life & Style this week, “I have this on the highest authority…And it’s not to be taken lightly. It’s going to be wonderful, happy news when it’s announced.”

Lastly, has anyone else noticed that Kate’s hiding her usual trim figure?

Admittedly, she might be indulging like the rest of us during the holiday, but when she recently stepped out in a loose-fitting green dress and a new face framing hairstyle at London’s Natural History Museum, we wondered if she’s hiding something.
