Barbra Streisand refused the advances of Marlon Brando. The diva recalled after an advance screening of “The Guilt Trip” Sunday that she once agreed to join “The Godfather” on a drive in the 1970s. “He wanted to go to the desert to see the wildflowers,’’ Streisand said. But Brando apparently wanted to see more than local flora. “He wanted to stay overnight,” added Babs (who wanted to cast Brando in “A Star Is Born,” according to Hollywood lore). “I said, ‘No, I don’t know you well enough.’ ” The adventure, disappointing to Brando, remained a “daytime trip to see the sagebrush and the wildflowers.” Streisand joined a Q&A simulcast from LA with Seth Rogen after the movie at the AMC Empire 25.
