WATCH: ‘Lovelace’ star Amanda Seyfried talks popsicles, slurping noises

Amanda Seyfried provided Conan O’Brien with very descriptive escapades from her upcoming biopic “Lovelace” in which she plays “Deep Throat” star Linda Lovelace.

“I’m just curious — how do you portray a porn star without the film being incredibly explicit?” the talk show host asked awkwardly.

The “Les Miserables” actress replied, “Well, you don’t actually have sex on film.”

“This is not the way I could have gone, but I’m not directing,” O’Brien responded.

Seyfried went on to explain how popsicles were useful during filming because lips became “wet and inflamed.” She then realized she may have pushed the envelope and added, “I can’t believe I went that far just now.”

A slack-jawed O’Brien was able to joke, “My soul just left my body.”

But she then went even further, telling O’Brien that additional dialogue she recorded for the film was “slurping noises.”

Seyfried then changed the subject: “Seriously. I’m promoting ‘Les Mis’ right now!”

“Yes, a film for the whole family,” O’Brien quipped.
