Longtime friends Padma Lakshmi and hotelier Vikram Chatwal kept close company during the holidays, and sources suspect their relationship could be more than platonic. The “Top Chef” judge and Chatwal, whose properties include the Dream Hotels, were first spotted in courtside seats together at MSG for the Knicks/Nets game in December. They were also said to be “inseparable” at the Dream’s New Year’s Eve Bash. And Lakshmi and Chatwal were spotted boarding a private plane in LA this week. Sources tell us Chatwal, who is still married to Priya Sachdev, and Lakshmi, who taped an episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” recently, have been close friends for years. A rep had “no comment on her personal life.”
