The youngest-ever Best Actress Oscar nominee — “Beasts of the Southern Wild” star Quvenzhané Wallis — bonded with the oldest, Emmanuelle Riva, this week. With some coaxing from her mom, Wallis, 9, approached French actress Riva, 85, at the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s annual Film Comment lunch, and exclaimed, “Bonjour!” “She was using the French she learned at the film’s Paris premiere,” explained a spy. Wallis and Riva shook hands, then “cuddled for a photo.” Wallis, who goes by “Nasie,” also made friends with Angela Bassett at the National Board of Review Awards, where Bassett was a presenter. She’s in town making “Black Nativity” with Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker.
