Anthony Weiner appeared last night at a fund-raiser at Upper West Side eatery Loi, where a spy said up to 200, including former mayoral hopeful Tom Allon, turned out. Hosted by tobacco distributor Leonard Schwartz, the event cost $75 a ticket — with a max donation of $4,950. Weiner was overheard addressing city plans to seal off tobacco from kids, saying he wants to talk to small-business owners, a spy said. A guest theorized, “Weiner’s polling well with white males, so Chris Quinn is trying to buy up advertising during sporting events.” An invite read: “Put one mistake aside, he is by far the most qualified and hard-working candidate.” But, didn’t Weiner make two? Tweeting, then fibbing about it?
