Theory designer Olivier Theyskens isn’t that into the art world, although he would like to buy some pieces and build a collection. “I am not a collector,” he told us at the Gordon Parks Foundation gala at The Plaza. “I never really know how many things I should own . . . Maybe I would like to own some amazing sculptures. When I go in museums, I want to touch the sculptures.” Earlier in the week, Theyskens attended the CFDAs, at which Hillary Rodham Clinton presented the Founders Award to Oscar de la Renta. “It was my first time seeing her and hearing her in real life, so I was very impressed,” he told us, adding that if she ran for president in 2016, “It would be amazing.”
