A lookalike of Korean two-hit wonder Psy popped up at the Cannes Film Festival, duping organizers to believe he was the actual “Gangnam Style” singer. Spies said the imposter lunched yesterday at Torch Beach Club — where Justin Timberlake, Lars Ulrich and Mark Ronson have been spotted during the fest — nearby DJs Pete Tong and Roger Sanchez. A spy at the Torch Beach Club yesterday said of the faker, “He had three security standing with him at all times, surrounding the table in suits and earpieces… Scamming free drinks and bottle service, including bottles of Cristal Rose.” The faux Psy even signed on to play an upcoming show at Cannes club VIP Room and another in Monaco, sources said. He was also on the prowl at glittering secret party Monday evening hosted by socialite Goga Ashkenazi and Le Baron at the Château Garibondy that Rosario Dawson, Karolina Kurvova and more fashion A-listers also attended. An e-mail from organizers of one of the Cannes events early this morning said, “We’ve been duped. I had a conversation with his label and it wasn’t him, just a lookalike… ” The real rapper, who happened to appear on “LIVE! with Kelly and Michael” the same day “Psy” was in Cannes, also tweeted at talent manager Scooter Braun who’s currently at the festival: “seems like there’s another ME at cannes…say Hi to him @scooterbraun lol #PSYinSINGAPORE”
