Johansson finds ScarJo nickname ‘violent’

Scarlett Johansson can’t stand the portmanteau the press has given her.

“I associate [ScarJo] with, like, pop stars. It sounds tacky. It’s lazy and flippant,” she told the May issue of Glamour. “And there’s something kind of violent about it. There’s something insulting about it.”

The expectant actress, who is engaged to former journalist Romain Dauriac, also reveals that her failed marriage to Ryan Reynolds prepared her for future relationships.

“I feel I know now more of what I need in a relationship, what I want in a relationship. And I know I have more tools to communicate, not just with my partner, but with myself. That’s not necessarily any reflection of who I was married to or what was happening in my marriage, but really where I was in my life,” she explained.

The 29-year-old currently stars in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and sci-fi flick, “Under the Skin.”
