“Good Morning America” weather anchor Ginger Zee wed NBC correspondent Ben Aaron wed last month and their stunning wedding photos have been released.
Photographer Michael Murphy captured the big day.
The couple, 33 and 32, said I do in an intimate wedding overlooking Lake Michigan.
“Ben is my partner for life,” Zee who wore a Pnina Tornai gown, told People. “I knew it as soon as I met him. I’ve never been more ready for anything in my life.”
The wedding, which welcomed 55 guests, had a costal theme. “Think Hamptons on the lake,” said wedding planner and Zee’s best friend Francesco Bilotto. “Lots of navy blue and off-white very formal coastal is the look.”
Zee said she wanted the wedding to take place in a location in which she cherished. “I am so proud to be from Michigan and I have countless memories of growing up along this gorgeous lake,” she said. “I wanted to have one of the most important moments of my life here and make another one of those memories.”
Guests were treated to dinner at The Inn at Bay Harbor which provided several options including a Michigan salad, artisan cheese plates, veggie quinoa, Parmesan-crusted chicken, grilled salmon and filet mignon. A “light and fluffy” cake was severed at the end.
