Prince of Monaco skips daughter’s college graduation

Prince Albert of Monaco missed his daughter’s graduation from Fordham on Saturday.

His Serene Highness was absent as pretty, blond Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, born in 1992 to Tamara Rotolo, received her diploma from Fordham University in The Bronx.

The prince, who married Charlene Wittstock in 2011, acknowledged Jazmin as his daughter in 2006. He also has a younger, illegitimate son, Alexandre Coste. Neither Alexandre nor Jazmin is in line to the throne, but they will get a share of Albert’s $1 billion fortune.

Also at the Fordham ceremony, US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor got an honorary doctorate of laws and a signed baseball from former Yankee Tino Martinez, who also received an honorary doctorate (along with a signed book from Sotomayor).

Martinez gave the commencement speech.
