Joan Rivers delivered takeout to Discovery Communications group president Henry Schleiff Tuesday morning after he missed a dinner party she hosted at her Upper East Side apartment the night before.
The “Fashion Police” co-host sent over a complete dinner with steak, mashed potatoes and string beans, and a chocolate cake with raspberry sauce for dessert, presented on fine china with silverware.
Sharp-tongued Rivers included a note to Schleiff: “Keep the plates, they’re stolen from QVC.”
Rivers, who just released her book “Diary of a Mad Diva,” has been pitching show ideas to Schleiff — who returned the QVC china the next day — for his four channels.
