Bethenny Frankel’s ex wants her to pay his legal fees

The soon-to-be ex-husband of Skinnygirl diet guru Bethenny Frankel is hitting up his spouse to cover his legal fees for their ongoing divorce battle.

Jason Hoppy, an account executive at the pharmaceutical company AbbVie, wants Manhattan Supreme Court matrimonial Justice Ellen Gesmer to order the former “Real Housewives” star to cough up the dough while their bitter divorce drags on.

Court filings do not show how much Hoppy owes, but top Manhattan matrimonial attorneys charge as much as $900 an hour.

The failed talk show host, whose net worth is $12 million, according to Forbes, filed a lawsuit in January 2013 to end her marriage to Hoppy.

The news comes as Hoppy dumped his celebrity attorney, Eleanor Alter, who repped Mia Farrow in her split from Woody Allen, for another famed divorce lawyer, Bernard Clair, who most recently helped Simon Cowell’s baby mama, Lauren Silverman, end her marriage.

It’s unclear why Hoppy swapped out Alter, but his divorce has been raging on for over a year with no end in sight.

The estranged couple was last in court two months ago, when Frankel asked Gesmer to grant her exclusive occupancy of their $5 million Hudson Street home.

Frankel recently told TV personality Andy Cohen that the split has been a “really surreal, crazy insane situation,” declining to comment further because of her 3-year-old, Bryn.

Alter did not return phone calls and Clair declined to comment.

Frankel’s attorney, Allan Mayefsky, who handled Katie Holmes’ split with Tom Cruise, also did not return a message.
