Dan Senor muses to friends about running for US Senate

Dan Senor, former George W. Bush adviser and husband of Campbell Brown, has been musing to friends about a New York Senate run against Kirsten Gillibrand in 2012. Gillibrand won election this year but must run again in two years to permanently claim Hillary Clinton‘s former seat. The Post reported last winter that Senor was weighing a run against Gillibrand this year, but he decided against it. Now, “He seems to think he has the senatorial mojo and will get the endorsements of big names like Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani,” a source told us. “I have not had discussions with anyone because I have no plans to run,” Senor told us by e-mail.
