Lady Gaga celebrated her 28th birthday backstage after her Roseland Ballroom show on Friday with guests including artist Jeff Koons and James Franco.
Spies said the singer was presented with a cake in the shape of a giant shoe that said “G.U.Y.” — the name of her newest single — by close friend and performer Lady Starlight, who opened the concert.
Gaga’s dancers sang “Happy Birthday,” then presented her with gifts including a pink sex toy, a riding crop and a sexy lingerie get-up with heart cutouts in intimate areas, spies said.
Gaga was overheard saying that the last time she’d been at Roseland, she “broke her nose in a mosh pit seeing [British band] Franz Ferdinand.”
After the show, we hear Starlight headed to DJ an after-party at No. 8, but Gaga headed to hang with actor boyfriend Taylor Kinney who’d she also spent the day with before the show.
A source said Starlight was overheard saying Gaga would likely marry Kinney.
