Goth rock icon Al Jourgensen is suing producer Edward Bates‘ Gigantic Pictures for allegedly stiffing him out of $70,000 and distributing a documentary about the former Ministry frontman — including a reported sex act involving a roast chicken — without his consent. Jourgensen filed suit after “Fix” recently premiered at the Chicago International Movies & Music Festival. The documentary by Doug Freel depicts Jourgensen’s drug-fueled antics, including a scene involving the chicken, in which he asks Warner Bros. record suits to “take a bite.” Jourgensen wants at least $250,000 in damages and approval over the film’s final cut. Bates counters that Jourgensen’s handlers just have cold feet because the film could damage a Ministry relaunch. “We wish Al was with us [at the premiere],” Bates said. “It was his time to shine. ” Jourgensen’s lawyer says he’ll seek an injunction against the movie’s release.
