Baby, it’s certainly no illusion

Abraca-baby . . . Illusionist David Copperfield has become a dad after his French girlfriend, Chloe Gosselin, gave birth to a beautiful girl, Sky, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

The well-heeled magician, 54, and the 26-year-old fashion model were seen traveling among New York, the Bahamas and Las Vegas last month with their baby.

Sources say the couple met two years ago through a mutual friend and live together in their home in the Islands of Copperfield Bay in the Bahamas. Sky was born 16 months ago.

Copperfield seems to have an eye for supermodels. He was engaged to Claudia Schiffer for six years, but the couple separated in 1999.

Copperfield is currently performing his magic act in Vegas at the MGM Grand. He broke his own career record with $3 billion in ticket sales worldwide. That figure is higher than any solo entertainer in history, including Madonna, Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Forbes magazine ranked him the 10th highest-paid entertainer in the world for earning $55 million in 2003.

In addition, Copperfield owns a private, 11-island resort at Musha Cay, also in the Bahamas, and the Islands of Copperfield Bay.

He recently completed a $35 million renovation at the frequent destination for the rich and famous. Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem were secretly married there last year to escape the paparazzi for their private ceremony.

Copperfield’s rep told us, “Forget vanishing the Statue of Liberty, David’s next illusion will be the disappearing dirty diaper . . . a lot more practical.”
