New York restaurateur Sirio Maccioni has taken his act to Tuscany to host a string of parties in his hometown of Montecatini.
Festivities kicked off Friday with a 50th wedding anniversary bash for Sirio and his wife Egidiana pool-side at their home.
Guests expected at the do included Miami Heat owner Micky Arison, Christopher Nixon Cox and Andrea Catsimatidis, Per Se and Daniel restaurant designer Adam Tihany and his wife Marnie and food festival guru Lee Schrager.
Sirio’s sons Mauro and Mario are helping to host the weekend bashes, we hear, while Marco holds down the New York operation.
Sirio’s family also celebrated 40 years of their restaurant Le Cirque this week.
