She claimed to know nothing about showbiz when she started dating Alec Baldwin, but now that they’ve made it up the aisle, Hilaria Thomas is going in front of the cameras, too. The yoga instructor landed a gig as a host on celebrity-news fix “Extra.” Thomas will co-host a Hamptons special on the entertainment show — fronted by all-muscle, teeth and dimples Mario Lopez and the ubiquitous bikini-wearing Maria Menounos — next weekend. The special is expected to showcase hot spots such as SoulCycle, where Thomas has taught yoga on weekends since early July. She also has a yoga video series on Plum TV and its Web site. Thomas was an instructor at Yoga Vida in New York when she met Baldwin in February 2011 at a restaurant, and has since whipped him back into glorious, manly shape. Temper-prone Baldwin, meanwhile, has seemingly been more Zen since his nuptials, avoiding any Twitter wars or paparazzi punch-ups. A rep for “Extra” confirmed that Thomas will host a special for the entertainment program.
