Ralph Lauren’s niece blasts ‘Delta’s lies’ after air rage

Fashion guru Ralph Lauren’s troubled niece claims she wasn’t drunk and never shoved a Delta flight attendant aboard a Barcelona-to-JFK jet that made an emergency landing in Ireland due to her air rage.

“I would never hurt anybody. I was not intoxicated. I did not push anyone,” Jenny Lauren, 41, said in an e-mail to The Post, publicly addressing the incident for first time.

The jewelry designer, whose own lawyer had said she was hopped up on booze and prescription meds during the scary midair meltdown, was fined $2,700 in an Irish court last Wednesday (pictured) after tearfully pleading guilty to charges of breach of peace and being intoxicated.

But she’s apparently changed her tune, saying a Bloody Mary she ordered on board “was my first and only drink.”

“I stood up for myself to one stewardess who was rude and unkind and the next thing you know, they were landing the plane,” she said.

“I was rushing up to see my friend in first class when they said they were going to land the plane. They threatened me,” Lauren insisted.

Irish police told a far different story, saying that Lauren first became upset when her exit-row seat wouldn’t recline.

Flight attendant Constance Topping tried to help, but Lauren screamed at her to “get the f–k out of my face!” Inspector Tom Kennedy testified.

Lauren, cops said, then rushed into the first-class compartment, where she shoved a crew member into an interior wall of the plane’s fuselage.

When a concerned pilot left the cabin to see what was going on, she yelled, “You’re an a–hole!” Kennedy added.

Topping’s supervisor, Jennifer Simpson, intervened, prompting the raging Lauren to call her a “fat ugly, unhappy, blond bitch,” the Irish cop said.

Lauren did admit that she might have lost her temper.

“When they announced that the plane was landing due to a passenger, I am ashamed to admit, I called that one stewardess a ‘blond, fat, unhappy witch,’ ” she conceded.
