Donna Karan is known for hosting hundreds at her Stephan Weiss Studio in the West Village — from the Dalai Lama to Def Jam bashes — but don’t expect to be invited to the home of her daughter, Gabby Karan De Felice.
“I don’t love visitors,” neat freak De Felice admits in Hamptons magazine. “People throw their stuff everywhere.”
Gabby’s husband, Gianpaolo, adds their home “is like a showroom. We have a mudroom for the shoes, and the kids can’t bring the toys past the second floor.”
The couple does instead welcome guests to their restaurant, Tutto Il Giorno, in the Hamptons and Tribeca. They’re also prepping a 12-room luxury inn and spa in Bridgehampton.
