Michael Douglas parties hard at son’s bar mitzvah, injures groin

Michael Douglas had so much fun at his son Dylan’s bar mitzvah, he suffered an injury.

The “Wall Street” actor turned up to a launch party for Jerry Bruckheimer’s book, “When Lightning Strikes,” at Monkey Bar on Wednesday with a limp and was seen sitting most of the evening.

“I’m hurting,” he told us. “I don’t know whether it’s my groin or a hernia. I got carried away at my son’s bar mitzvah this weekend. You know they put you up in the chairs over the top — I think something happened there.”

Another guest was heard talking about the festivities, saying Dylan’s party invite was a photo of himself on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Douglas made light of his pain during a speech, joking he got hurt from carrying two copies of Bruckheimer’s heavy tome that publicist Peggy Siegal gave him.

“They’re eight pounds each,” he said.

Douglas said he was going to the doctor Thursday.

Catherine Zeta-Jones was supposed to attend, but Douglas told us she was watching their kids at their home in Bedford.
