Olympic snowboarder Shaun White made the Internet believe he and his band crashed their car at SXSW.
White, who is performing at the Austin, Texas, fest with his band Bad Things, posted pics of him and his group standing by a car that was stranded in a ditch Monday night.
The caption read, “Really Lena?” pointing fault at drummer Lena Zawaideh.
But White’s rep told us the car wasn’t theirs — it was parked outside of a venue where the band had performed, and they took the photos as a joke.
“They travel in a van,” the rep added.
More than 800 people “favorited” White’s tweet of the joke, and even Chevrolet tweeted to White, asking if the band needed a lift.
