James Franco‘s recent provocative behavior may seem disconcerting to some, but according to younger brother Dave, it’s no big deal.
“I don’t know, compared to some of the other weird things he’s doing, this seems like kind of a refined act,” the actor, 28, said on Tuesday night’s episode of “Conan.”
“He’s pulling it in a little bit,” the “Neighbors” star added with a chuckle.
In April, the elder Franco, 36, caused a stir when he was caught chatting up a 17-year-old on Instagram. Then, earlier this month, the actor raised eyebrows on the service again when he posted and then quickly deleted a selfie in which his hand is shoved down the front of his underwear.
Not all of Franco’s bizarre antics have been limited to Instagram, though. The actor also showed off a series of nude portraits of friend and “Pineapple Express” co-star Seth Rogen.
But as Dave made clear, he’s not fazed at all by his brother’s actions.
“Again, as I said, this is dignified for him,” he said.
