The road to the wedding has begun for Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross.
The couple, 29 and 25, is planning a bohemian-style wedding, reports E! News.
The ceremony will be held at Diana Ross’ Greenwich, Conn., estate on Aug. 31 and will be decorated with white lanterns hanging from trees — much like their March engagement party.
Simpson is opting for mismatched bridesmaid dresses, but it’s unclear what kind of tuxedos Ross and his groomsmen will wear.
“Honestly, we could go and get married right now, wherever,” Ross said. “We just want to be married. We’re in love. This is the most incredible time I could ever think of in my life and I’m young, but the same time, I’ve lived a different life than most and I can’t think of a happier moment.”
This will be Simpson’s second marriage and Ross’ first. Simpson has a 5-year-old son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, with her first husband, Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.
The Simpson family will have a very busy summer. Jessica Simpson will marry her fiancé, Eric Johnson, on July 4.
