Liam Gallagher’s baby mama fighting for full custody

The mother of the New York love child fathered by Liam Gallagher is fighting for full custody to keep the former Oasis rocker away from their 10-month-old daughter — whom he has never seen.

Page Six has exclusively learned that journalist Liza Ghorbani is preparing to file for custody of baby Gemma in Manhattan family court, and requests that Gallagher only be allowed to see her under supervision.

A source tells us, “Ghorbani is seeking sole custody of Gemma and asking the court to impose supervised visitation upon Gallagher — if he ever decides to meet and visit his daughter. “Her concern is that he still lives the life of a rock star, and she wouldn’t want to leave the child in his care.”

The source added, “Liam has never seen Gemma, nor spoken to her, nor has he expressed any interest in how she is doing.”

Gorgeous Gemma was born after Ghorbani interviewed married Gallagher for a 2010 New York Times profile and the pair began a relationship. A DNA test proved that Gallagher, now the frontman of band Beady Eye, is her father.

Ghorbani, 39, is suing Gallagher, 41, in Manhattan for child support. Unless Gallagher agrees to a settlement, there could be a public trial in late fall.

The legal process suffered a minor hiccup when the judge threw out Ghorbani’s original petition after a court hearing was missed. Her lawyer is expected to file a motion to reinstate the case this week.

A source close to Ghorbani claimed that the dismissal of the case was a procedural glitch, but Gallagher has been causing other delays.

Said the source, “He still has not produced any financial documents after delaying the proceeding for months: There was a two-month delay to seek testing to prove his paternity — and then a six-week delay to seek a confidentiality order.

“Gallagher’s deposition cannot go forward until he produces his financial records, which he continues to fail to do.”

Raoul Felder, the lawyer for Gallagher, and William Beslow, who’s representing Ghorbani, both declined to comment on the custody case.
