Will Ferrell’s mug taunted Rangers fans near MSG by cheering on an LA Kings billboard during the Stanley Cup Final, and now Upper West Side residents are kvetching the comic’s invaded their hood.
“Sleeping With Other People” — starring Amanda Peet, Jason Sudeikis and Natasha Lyonne, produced by Ferrell and Adam McKay — has been filming on West 81st Street, in Rose O’Donnell’s former home, which is up for sale for $12 million, we hear.
Locals are riled up.
“They’ve taken up ³/₄ of the block with 10 enormous trucks,” a resident groused. The traffic here is like the president’s in town.”
(He actually was).
When locals saw the cast coming out of Rosie’s house, “There was a mix of cheers and boos. The cheers were mostly for Natasha Lyonne.”
But a rep for the film commented: “Will is out of [New York] and Natasha has yet to begin her scene work on this film. Neither have yet been to the set of ‘Sleeping With Other People.'”
