Aslaug Magnúsdóttir to launch new fashion site this spring

Aslaug Magnúsdóttir — the fashion exec who founded online shopping site Moda Operandi with Lauren Santo Domingo — is launching a new venture this spring, Page Six has exclusively learned.

Based in the Garment District, Magnúsdóttir’s new online business will allow fashionistas to customize luxury items created by top designers — including “personalizing” items by adding sleeves, choosing a garment’s lengths, changing its color or adding various embellishments.
The firm’s advisers will include fashion blogger Leandra Medine, a k a Man Repeller, we hear.
Page Six exclusively reported that Magnúsdóttir, who has also worked at Gilt Groupe, exited Moda Operandi in May.
