Cornelia Guest has sold her historic family estate Templeton for $5.8 million after marketing it for two years.
Cornelia tells us she closed on a deal to sell the fabled, nearly 12,000-square-foot, 11-bedroom home in Old Westbury, LI.
She told us, “It is a bittersweet moment. The house has been in my family for 40 years. There are many wonderful memories here. But it is too large for me, and I am excited to move to a new home.”
Templeton was home to Cornelia’s chic blue-blooded parents, Winston and former Post gardening columnist C.Z. Guest, and is where much of New York society has been sumptuously entertained by them and their daughter, the founder of Cornelia Guest Events.
