Gabriel Aubry, who’s in a battle with Halle Berry over their daughter, Nahla, has been in a custody fight before — over a miniature dog. A close friend of Ford model Marianne Trudel, who lived with Aubry for almost two years before he met Berry, tells us they got into a tug of love over their miniature pinscher, Jimmy, after they split in 2005. The source said, “Gabriel bought the dog for Marianne, but after they broke up, he wanted shared custody of Jimmy. He would take the dog for three months a year — two months over the summer and for a month at Christmas. They continued to share custody until Aubry met Halle.” Because of Trudel’s modeling commitments, poor Jimmy is now living with Marianne’s grandparents in Quebec. She declined to comment and a rep for Aubry didn’t get back to us.
