Kanye West scoped out the GQ Best New Menswear Designers in America event as if it were his own private boutique. A spy reports that when West surveyed the clothes by the six finalists, he made the models lounging on the sofas stand up so he could see everything, even the footwear. Jessica Alba, Aziz Ansari, Kid Cudi, Tommy Hilfiger and designer Steven Alan also packed inside with swarms of editors, buyers and publicists. Those who got there shortly after it started were told the event was full and were stopped at the door.
