The unexpected star of this season’s “The Real Housewives of New York City” isn’t a housewife at all. He’s Harry Dubin, ex-husband of ‘Housewife’ Aviva Drescher and father of her son Harrison, 12.
LuAnn de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan are also wild about Harry, having allegedly gotten very cozy with him in years past — leading entertainment-gossip site wetpaint.com to dub him the Housewife Whisperer.
“I only have the best to say about all of them,” Dubin gallantly told me.
“So what is it about him — his charm, his money, his prowess in the sack?” the Web site asks.
Dubin is mystified by Wetpaint’s $15 million estimate of his net worth from real-estate investments: “I’m not even going to go there. I have zero clue how they got that number. It is silly.”
He wouldn’t say if the real number was higher or lower. “You just don’t talk about money,” Dubin said.
Now that friends are urging him to do his own reality show, maybe titled “How To Marry Harry,” Dubin said, “I’m willing.”
He ex-wife approves of the idea. “He’s got great manners, and kindness. He’s truly not judgmental, and very funny,” Aviva said.
As for his net worth, “I have no idea because I’m his ex-wife and he always hid it from me,” she laughed. “I hope Harrison gets it all.”
