“Dancing With The Stars” alum David Arquette has finally admitted his marriage with Courteney Cox is irretrievably over. The actor’s relationship with new girlfriend, “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent Christina McLarty, is moving quickly, and he admits he is in love.
The actor divulged his good fortune with McLarty to Howard Stern. Stern pushed him on the matter asking, “If Courteney said to you, ‘David, I made a mistake I want to work on our marriage. I want you moving back into the house, I want you to break up with that girl. I know we have to do this for our daughter.’ Would you consider it?”
Arquette, who was on the show yesterday, responded, “I mean, no.”
Arquette began dating McLarty over the summer and the two were first spotted together at Comic Con in July.
“She’s adorable,” he told Stern in September, adding that they met at a “boat party” and were “trying to see each other as much as possible.” McLarty was previously married to Girls Gone Wild scion Joe Francis for less than two months.
Arquette said that telling Cox he was in love with another woman was difficult. “She was sad, we were both sad. We both cried,” he said. Fans of the couple had hoped for a reconciliation, given that Cox had cheered on Arquette during “Dancing with the Stars.”
“I don’t know why I always end up talking about my relationships. I try not to,” Arquette said to Stern Tuesday. “I’m trying to keep my personal life personal. It’s very hard for me because I’m a very honest person.”
