Dakota Fanning’s pose for Marc Jacobs’ ad deemed too racy for UK

LONDON — Dakota Fanning’s pose in a Marc Jacobs’ perfume ad was ruled too sexy for the UK and has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority, E! News reported Wednesday.

In the photo, the 17-year-old actress holds a large bottle of Jacobs’ “Oh Lola!” perfume between her legs as she stares seductively at the camera.

“The length of her dress, her leg and position of the perfume bottle drew attention to her sexuality. Because of that, along with her appearance, we considered the ad could be seen to sexualize a child,” the advertising watchdog said in a statement.

The ad first began to appear this June in numerous magazines across the UK but after the ASA’s ruling it can no longer appear in a UK publication.
