‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York’ trailer shows Kim Kardashian in tears

A new trailer for “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” shows Kim Kardashian shedding tears over the breakdown of her relationship with Kris Humphries.

“If it’s not meant to be, it’s not meant to be,” Kourtney Kardashian says to Kim as the trailer begins.

A narrator takes it from there. “On November 27th, one couple will try to figure out their future … While one will see theirs unravel. Because not every fairytale can have a happy ending.”

The trailer first gives glimpses of Kourtney Kardashian and longtime boyfriend, Scott Disick, who’s considering proposing. The preview then focuses on Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

Quick editing shows Kim Kardashian, upset that Humphries “has gone out every night since [the couple moved to New York].” Next, viewers see Humphries and Disick in a limo, with Disick saying, “90,000 people took your picture. It’s going to be on the Internet,” perhaps warning the NBA star about the level of attention he’s going to get in his new life as Kim’s husband.

Then Kim Kardashian confronts Humphries, saying, “Your wife has to find out you’re in a different country on Twitter?” Kim may be alluding to Humphries’ recent trip to Canada, for a party he hosted at a club called Maison, when he Tweeted Sept. 17, “Headed to Maison tonight with @scottdisick. Should be crazy tonight, last night of the Toronto Film Fest.”

Then finally, Kourtney Kardashian asks Kim, “Can you live with Kris?”

In the wake of Kim Kardashian’s divorce filing, many thought the NBA star’s role in the E! series might be minimized. But Kris Jenner, the Kardashian matriarch, clarified last night on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” that wouldn’t be the case.

Jenner said, “We decided a long time ago when we first started doing these shows that we were going to be really just raw and not edit ourselves, and we don’t take stuff out, as you see all the time. So I think everybody will get a really fascinating glimpse into the kids’ journey in New York City.”

The new season of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” premieres on Nov. 27.
