Angelina Jolie and Brad Pit visit Vietnam with Pax

The Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt clan is in Vietnam, the birthplace of the couple’s youngest adopted child Pax, 7.

The family was spotted today in Ho Chi Minh City, having lunch at a restaurant famous for traditional Vietnamese food. Jolie, Pitt and their brood were previously in Japan to promote Pitt’s movie, “Moneyball,” and they all then jetted to the Southeast Asian country where Jolie adopted Pax in 2007. The entire family is expected to visit the orphange where Pax spent the first three years of his life. They will then head to the coast to vacation in the Con Dao islands, reports say.

“We owe Vietnam a visit because Pax is due,” Angelina Jolie told the Financial Times in July. “[The kids] are all learning about each other’s cultures as well as being proud of their own. They all have their flags over their beds and their individual pride.”

Photos snapped today show Pax in a muscle shirt with long hair, side-swept a la Justin Bieber. He was being ushered to lunch by Jolie, in aviator sunglasses and a blue dress.

Jolie revealed earlier this year that Pax’s favorite food is crickets, a delicacy in some Southeast Asian countries. Son Maddox is apparently also a fan. “My boys love to eat crickets,” Jolie said. “It’s their favorite thing. They brought to-go boxes home and I had to actually ban the cricket eating at a certain point because I was afraid they were going to get sick from too many … They ate them like Doritos.”

Stay tuned for the Jolie-Pitt’s eventual visits to Cambodia, where 10-year-old Maddox was adopted, and Ethiopia, where 6-year-old Zahara was born.
