Robert Pattinson is great with babies, says his “Twilight” saga co-star and rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
Stewart revealed to the Web site Hollywood Life that the two had to work with a wide assortment of child actresses who played the role of their baby, Renesmee, in the latest “Twilight” film. “Renesmee grows so fast that we got to work with, sort of, every age,” Stewart explained. “I mean we had three week-old babies, sort of ranging up until [actress] Mackenzie [Foy], who’s 11.”
Stewart said she had no idea how to interact with the youngest ones. But Pattinson was a natural.
“Rob’s really good with them too. Every time they started crying it was just like, I would literally go ‘Oh my God, where’s its mom?’ I would be worried about the baby,” said Stewart. “He would literally go into the corner and just shake it to sleep. It was weird to see that.”
It’s an anecdote that will no doubt make Pattinson even more swoon-worthy to the throngs of female fans who are have been camping outside the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles since Thursday for tonight’s premiere of “Breaking Dawn, Part 1.”
