Soon-to-be New York City Police Commissioner Bill Bratton and his journalist wife, Rikki Klieman, were special guests at Regan Communications Group president George Regan’s home in Massachusetts on Monday night. The annual holiday bash turned into an impromptu “congratulations party” as Bratton received well wishes on his upcoming role from familiar faces including former Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis. The evening ended with the following toast, which we sincerely hope doesn’t spoil any New Yorker’s Christmas Day: “Perhaps for the first and last time in history, both the mayor and police commissioner of New York City are Red Sox fans.”
